The South Stations serves the community and the department in a wide variety of manners that range from interpretation for officers in the field to helping individuals work their way through the criminal justice system as well as intervention with at risk families.

The Records Division is responsible for the transcription, copying and filing of all police reports generated by all Police Department divisions. They also manage the subpoena and warrants service process and the mailing of all reports.

Filing a false police report is a crime.
