Apr 29, 2018 · Mech 6 gets less use but is an AC20++ 4xML up-armoured Jaegermech. When it's replaced i may free up that AC20++ for the close range orion. Basically I like 2 long range, 1 short range, and 1 jump platform in most lances I deploy and the Orion is a decent platform for most of those roles in a pinch.

Clan Wolf produces Orion IIC in limited numbers and definitely it isn't their main frontline 'Mech. It's a reward for promising MechWarriors. Dec 8, 2018 · Orion Ks can be configured to carry load outs resembling the Marauder, Archer, and Victor for starters. I don’t recommend running more than a couple SRMs and maybe a medium laser with an AC/20 and JJs on the Orion. In most environments the secondary weaponry is used very little as you jump around and use the AC.

Dec 14, 2012 · In my first incarnation as a BattleTech player, back in the 80's-90's, I loved this Mech. In the Merc unit I played in, my character started in a Centurion and moved up to an Orion. Just a great trooper Mech. I still have that Orion mini, painted in the Merc unit colors (based on USMC dress colors).
