Wii is limited to USB 2.0 (so you can't get higher than ~45 MB/s anyway), and most games only expect a maximum of 5-6 MB/s due to the speed of the disc drive.

Feb 28, 2011 · I think the important thing to note here is that the wii seems to prefer Fat and Fat32. Fat32 maxes out at 32gb, so anything larger than that is going to probably get stuck in NTFS or exFat and the Wii isn't going to know what to do with that.
