Mar 25, 2016 · Yep, Swiss weather. Unpredictable everywhere, really. I do like the mountains in the Mattertal and have spent my time on the side of the Matterhorn (OK, the Hirli) in a small, aluminum 'tent' with winds and snow howling outside and a 5-year old inside with me and my wife.

May 6, 2017 · It may depend upon your age. We grew up seeing images of the Matterhorn. To see it in person was outstanding. There are easy places to walk nearer, basically the beginnings of hiking trails, no special footwear (or lung power) required. We loved Switzerland; you will too!
