For sale is a NIB Marlin Century Limited rifle in 44-40 cal. This is JM stamped lever action rifle with color case-hardening and wonder engraving designed by Italian engraver Bottega Giovanelli. This fine rifle has a 24" tapered octagon barrel with a 12 shot tube magazine.

Feb 12, 2013 · The 1894 is a fine rifle. Thanks to the cowboy action enthusiasts, there are lots of parts available for this model, from Marlin, as well as other manufacturers. Replacement wood is also available, some even with classic crescent curved end plate. I find no fault in the 44/40.

Sights / Optics: The gun is mounted with a dovetail set front blade and a dovetail set rear leaf and elevator sight, in the semi buckhorn pattern and with the elevator retained. The upper tang is drilled, tapped, and filled in two places for installation of a tang sight.
