Malcolm is a village in Lancaster County, Nebraska, United States. It is part of the Lincoln, Nebraska Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 457 at the 2020 census.

Malcolm, located in the heartland of Nebraska, is a small town that offers a quintessential Midwestern experience. This charming locale is known for its tight-knit community and serene rural landscapes. A notable highlight in Malcolm is Branched Oak Lake, a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts.

Despite Malcolm, Nebraska's small size, it offers a wealth of recreational activities for surrounding communities. Conveniently located between two of this area's most popular lakes: Pawnee and Branched Oak, Malcolm offers a variety of fishing and water recreation.

In the 1890's Malcolm boasted a creamery run by a Mr. Nietzel, a barber shop, an implement business and stockyards. In later years, Malcolm also had a butcher shop, a hotel and a State bank. On June 16, 1915 Malcolm became an incorporated village.

Malcolm lies within Lancaster County in the southeastern part of Nebraska, USA. It is situated northwest of the state capital, Lincoln, and is part of the Lincoln metropolitan area. The village is relatively close to Branched Oak Lake and Recreation Area, providing a nearby natural landmark.
