Jul 20, 2019 · Possibly, the reason for the spelling of the word "Mahabone" in syllables ("Ma-ha-bone", "Mah-ha-bone", "Mah-hah-bone", "Maha bone" etc is to suggest to pronounce it correctly, and not to that it is an acronym. This is the same with the word "Shibboleth", which also means "a manner of speaking".
