  1. Apple has replaced their MagSafe Battery Pack with the Anker …

Dec 16, 2024 · Unlike the Apple MagSafe Battery Pack, the Anker Power Bank has a power button and led display on the side of the battery to let you know the charge status, which I really like. As to form factor, it feels very comfortable in the hand (like the Apple MagSafe Wallet) and doesn't feel bulky at all, nor does it add much weight to the phone, unlike ...

  2. MagSafe vs Wired | MacRumors Forums

Oct 9, 2024 · My current phone doesn’t support Magsafe but I think it is a very convenient sort of tech. Afaik it works via induction magnets tech and limited to 15w which isn’t too much comparing to wired “default” 20w from newer Apple bricks which should be in theory safer.

  3. iPhone 16 Models Can Charge at Up to 25W Using MagSafe

Apr 12, 2001 · For the first time, the iPhone 16 models support fast charging over MagSafe. Users can expect up to a 50 percent charge in 30 minutes when using a 30W or higher adapter paired with one of the new MagSafe Chargers. Fast charging is also available with a 20W or higher adapter paired with a standard USB-C cable.

  4. Experience with iPhone SE 2nd Gen and MagSafe charging?

Jan 14, 2008 · Magsafe is basically wireless charging with magnets for positioning. Depending on your charger and device it might be faster than standard Qi wireless charging, but it's still only marginally faster. Apple Magsafe wireless chargers are fully Qi compatible, meaning they'll work with any iPhone that supports wireless charging (like the SE2 for ...

  5. Is there a good 25W MagSafe charger stand - MacRumors Forums

Nov 22, 2024 · Can anybody recommend a good 25W MagSafe charger stand. I keep checking Amazon and they all say 15W. I search for 25W and 15W keep showing up. The one I have says it comes with a 25W adapter but, it doesn't seem that good. Here's what I've...

  6. MagSafe on iPad Mini | MacRumors Forums

Jul 16, 2024 · I've wondering about this for a while, and I think it could be cool to have an iPad mini with a MagSafe ring on its back. I have seen cases that do have a magsafe ring, but I believe those are only for sticking stuff onto the back surface, not to mention they look questionable to me. 7. Magsafe 3 to 2 compatibility? - MacRumors Forums

Jan 27, 2007 · These take the power from a Magsafe 2 connector, and provide DC/DC conversion to comply with the USB C PD standard. Commonly available versions are 65W or 45W. b) I assume that the Magsafe 3 cable also works with 3rd-party power supplies, as long as they support the USB C PD standard.

  8. MagSafe charger A2140 or A2548? - MacRumors Forums

Jun 8, 2023 · I presume/hope official Apple stores only sell the newer A2548 model because I'm probably going to buy one soon. But two things I don't like about the Apple MagSafe charger: the cable is still plastic rather than braided like the new Apple charge cables, and …

  9. Apple Releases Updated MagSafe Charger Firmware

Apr 12, 2001 · The 2024 MagSafe charger was released alongside the iPhone 16 models, and it is able to charge them at up to 25W. For the iPhone 12 models to the iPhone 15 models, charging is capped at 15W. Because firmware updates are released quietly over the air, Apple does not provide release notes.

  10. Any downside to Magsafe charging vs cable? - MacRumors Forums

Sep 20, 2023 · I have a MagSafe stand on my nightstand, and a MagSafe puck in my car. I also have a MagSafe vent mount I use for some rentals (typically vans/trucks that don’t have CarPlay: audio is piped straight into my MFi hearing aids). About the only time I ever plug in is if I have a rental car with only wired CarPlay… maybe once a year.
