The Wasteland depicted in the first two Mad Max movies appears to be relatively untouched by ecological disaster. Given that these films take place prior to any nuclear exchange, it is plausible that the area seen is simply the Australian outback as we see it in our own world.

People like to act like the Mad Max world has no chronology, yet it actually does, based on George Miller. Miller has said before that both Furiosa and Fury Road take place after Thunderdome.

Jul 30, 2020 · I wrote a long Mad Max fanfic story and would try my best to sketch out the geography so it would be accurate, from the location of the other towns to where the sun set. This is so close to how I pictured it.

Apr 11, 2018 · Anyway, here is a map of all the minefields AS WELL AS the locations for all the car bodies. I was always annoyed I had to track down each minefield location for each region on my phone, so hopefully this will reduce the irritation for you. Suggestion: Take the buggy, drive from one marker to the next that you've made on your map.
