Jan 2, 2021 · As of late, mine periodically is worse - reaching farther across the Touch Bar. Couple times between putting computer to sleep, the Touch Bar has stopped displaying altogether including the flickering which was a relief. Was worried I was then without an escape key but it still worked as well as the invisible function keys.

May 22, 2020 · If I do not use the laptop for about 60-75 seconds, the touch-bar dims (60 seconds) and in 75 seconds it switches off (presumably to prevent OLED burn-in). This is normal, but recently a bright white rectangle in the top right corner starts flashing out of nowhere and continues to do so until I touch it, after which everything goes back to normal.

Jul 8, 2019 · Other than expanded quick actions disappearing, the touch bar works fine. I think this maybe a software issue, not hardware. Can someone with a touch bar kindly test this and let me know if touch bar quick actions can expand as normal. Please change the touch bar settings to quick actions and see if the control strip disappears when expanded.
