I have the M2 Pro 16GB, 2TB, 10/16/16 Core and paid full price of $1899 in Feb 2023. More than likely the most I could get would be ~$1300 on eBay then you have to pay all the fees involved.

Apr 12, 2001 · Compared to Mac Mini M2 Pro it is 2 or 4 more performance cores and the same number of efficiency cores. And compared to M3 Pro actually even better because that came in a 5+6 or 6+6 arrangement whereas here we have 8+4 and 10+4.

Compromising for 16 or 24 GB of RAM brings the price of the base Mac Mini M2 down quite a bit so could be a price/technology sweet spot for you depending on whether that's practical for your datasets, etc. The upcoming M4 Mac Mini may or may not change the equation as well.

Jan 31, 2023 · Just got my M2 Mac Mini (non pro version) with 16GB of ram and 256GB. This thing comfortably crushes WoW @1080p. I run with a mix of settings that are somewhere around the 6-8/10 range and maintain 100-120 FPS in the over world, 60-80 FPS in Valdrakken, and somewhere in between for raids and dungeons depending on what’s going on.
