It is a Vulture, a Vulture Mk. 3 specifically, which was created as an iteration on the original Vulture to canonize the MW4 appearance. This is simply a Mad Dog Vulture that differs from the classic version.

So this time around I'm doing my favorite 'Mech and the one that got me into Battletech in the first place, the Mechwarrior 4 Vulture. It will be much smaller and lighter, as well as having better articulation in the joints which will hopefully allow me to move much easier.

Oct 18, 2024 · Lore-wise the only difference the MK II and the MK I had were cosmetic, the CT energy mounts were MW4's invention of dubious canonicity. The MW4 version of Vulture MK II already exists in the game as the MDD-RV "Revenant" hero mech.

Aug 13, 2016 · Strictly, speaking, the Vulture in MW4 is standard Vulture. Or more specifically, Vulture Mk 2, which is standard Vulture made in a Spheroid factory (by the Ghost Bears). (Ignore the weapons loadout.) The Vulture III is based on the MechWarrior Dark Age Vulture... which is based on the MW4 Vulture.

It looks better than the vulture resculpt. MS has copyright on it but it has been canonized as the IS-built ones in Ghost Bear space (built on Alshain IIRC). The Dark Age Vultures are also made to look like it.
