New York City Transit operates buses 3960-4019, 4040-4139, and 4170-4278, while MTA Bus Company operates buses 4020-4039 and 4140-4169. MTA Bus Company began acquiring former New York City Transit buses beginning in 2021. They replaced many TMC RTS-06 and OBI Orion V buses at NYCTA and MTA Bus.
