Grohmann Tower is MSOE’s apartment-style housing. It comprises 11 residential floors and features studios and 1- and 2-bedroom apartments. All apartments include a full kitchen and bathroom.

Nearly all first-year and second-year students live on campus in one of our residential buildings. All unmarried first-year and second-year students under 21 live in one of our residential buildings unless they live within 30 miles of campus with their guardian at their primary residence.

Does MSOE have a residency requirement? Typically, students must live on campus during their first two years at MSOE. During the two-year residency requirement, students who live in one of MSOE’s Residence Halls participate in the unlimited meal plan.
