Aug 25, 2021 · There is no PSP Device listed in the windows device manager. I am on a X570 Unify, have flashed different BIOSes. In the MB Manual (wich is outdated) options for enabling/disabling PSP is listed but there are definately no such options anymore in the BIOS.

Nov 22, 2019 · Once you install the latest Chipset, see PSP is shown in Device Manager. If not try to manually installing PSP by directing Device Manager to the Chipset Installation folder at C:\AMD CHIPSET in updating the PSP Driver.

Sep 19, 2021 · My motherboard is the MSI B550 MAG Tomahawk. I have both the AMD PSP 11.0 Device and Trusted Platform Module 2.0 under "Security devices" in Device Manager. Both show as working properly. Check your Bios, if I recall correctly it has to be enabled in addition to fTPM.

You can basically say PSP offers passive services, while the ME is more active. Maybe there could be a way to exploit PSP to gain access to Memory Parts you're not allowed too or crash the PC. But I doubt you can use it to remotely gain access like to a bash shell.

Sep 27, 2010 · while there are merits in installing the psptoolchain from scratch, for noobs (or even your average user), the minimalist pspsdk is much easier to install and get up and running and will provide you with everything you need, hence i suggest it for those groups.
