At MB&F we love to create Machines. MB&F’s Horological and Legacy Machines came first, reinterpreting fine watchmaking into kinetic, 3-dimensional sculptures for the wrist. Co-Creations came next: collaborations with partners, giving birth to table clocks, music boxes and other forms of mechanical art.

MB&F (Maximilian Büsser and Friends) is a Swiss luxury watch and clock manufacturer founded by Maximilian Busser in July 2005 in Geneva, Switzerland. MB&F specializes in small series of concept-type watches.

Our Legacy Machines pay tribute to 19th century watchmaking excellence, reinterpreting traditional horological complications while remaining authentic 3-dimensional MB&F Machines. The collection has also given birth to EVO editions, compatible with collectors’ active lifestyles.

MB and MBL lock washers are locking devices, used to secure KM, KML and HM .. T lock nuts onto a shaft or adapter sleeve and prevent unintentional loosening. MB .. A is a stronger version of the MB washer. The lock washers engage a keyway in the shaft or adapter sleeve thread.

When the press release announcing these watches landed in my inbox, I immediately messaged Jack and said, “I need to write this story.”
