[Solved] Debian 12 LXDE/LXQT Networking problem
Jun 13, 2023 · I tested a fresh net install of Debian with LXQt and was able to determine the cause. TL;DR: A workaround is to not ship Debian LXQt with connman/cmst. That way, at least the Wi-Fi radio wouldn't get RF-killed at boot.

Jun 26, 2020 · I have multiboot (Debian 10 gnome, Lubuntu 18.04 [LxDe], Ubuntu 18.04 Gnome, and Windows 10), and when I install Debian Buster LxDe (the same way I do with Debian Buster LxQt) there is not problem at all with WiFi (WLAN, because I cannot use internat cable right now).
Why is LXDE losing its popularity among Linux users?
Jul 11, 2012 · I'd like to point out that development of LXDE has shifted toward LXQt, which has been putting out releases. The same design is used, just with a different toolkit. The last major release of LXQt came out just three months ago.

Jul 10, 2011 · I am running Stretch with newer kernel with LXDE. After I added additional panel n the desktop, the default menu panel at the bottom disappears after reboot. Also some icons on the newly added panel become invisible.
