Loxazol is used to treat scabies (itchy and highly contagious skin infestation by itch mite sarcoptes scabiei), infestation by head lice (head paediculosis) and pubic infestation (paediculosis pubis). Loxazol is an epimer of chenodeoxycholic acid.
