The recently little-known Taiwan-born singer, actor, and personal trainer has turned into a viral sensation over the past weeks, as his fitness livestreams amass audiences from across the country.

Genghong and his 43-year-old Taiwanese actress wife, Vivi Wang, have since rebranded themselves as fitness influencers on Douyin, live streaming their workout sessions to millions each time. Within a month, Genghong gained more than 22 million fans on Douyin and one live stream sesh was even liked 200 million times.
