Nov 20, 2015 · Lightest RWD 4 cylinder engine that isn't a turd? I was just looking up how much various 4 cylinders weigh and the SR20 weighs about 330lbs and the KA24 is 370ish. Both sound pretty heavy to me for how much JDM bros hate on my big heavy V8 that weighs 430ish.

The overall cheapest car is the 94-04 mustang v6, it has a solid-axle, low power and not the lightest but it’s really the only rwd car I can find for under 3k that is still running. Jul 23, 2020 · Your drivetrain only really comes into play after a loss of grip. Rwd cars tend to rotate around the center of mass if the front tires lose traction. Whereas with a fwd car, if your front tires lose traction, you stop accelerating (meaning there is no force that rotates you around). But those issues only come into play after a loss of traction.
