Mar 9, 2010 · Laminar Lip for 2008+ models I purchased and installed a Laminar Lip for my 2012 KLR. I have tried numerous windscreens for my bike in the past. I have tried the KLR tall, the Happy Trail Rallye, the Bajaworx, a ZeroGravity, a screen from Australia, and the German screen with the adjustable wing. Plus others that I cannot recall the name of.

Jan 11, 2006 · Laminar Lip Hi, I recently installed the Laminar Lip on my 2005 Majesty 400. I know, this is a Burgman site, but I thought I would post this anyway. I didn't install it on my stock screen but the Givi screen that I have on now. The Majesty's Givi screen is about 3-4" taller than the stock and my Lip is about 2-3" above the Givi.

Apr 1, 2013 · The manufacturer claims that the laminar lip disrupts the "Boundary Layer" that forms just above the surface of the Gen2 front fender at higher speeds, especially generating lift in the recessed area at the flat, top part of the fender near the attachment point where the fender is beefier and forces can be transferred through the forks.

Aug 4, 2007 · Bought a laminar lip for my 08 KLR. It keeps much more wind off than the stocker, but can't say I was too impressed by the mounting procedure. It uses two existing screws on the top of the fairing and a couple of those velcro stickers things on the bottom that stick to the fairing.

Aug 12, 2005 · My Laminar Lip is alway to the top and moves the air up a bit, but at 6'2" I also need a couple more inches reduce the beating at highway crusing speeds. The Givi shield shipped from Az Motorsports on Friday.

Jul 28, 2015 · Where can I get a Laminar Lip that will fit on the bike that has a Cee Baliey's on it? Their site doesn't even list the 1300.. I'm getting a little bit of buffeting and if I put the lip on there to give in another inch or two it will be gone. Thanks..

May 7, 2008 · I bought a used Laminar lip for my Burgman 650. No instructions. I have a question: How does one set up "trial positions" without committing to the super stick-on mushroom dots? I'm thinking 4 faucet washers and duct tape, but I'm worried about marring my pretty windshield. Any suggestions? Other installation advice gladly received. Thanks

Sep 30, 2007 · Howdy scooter fans, Got me a new Burgman 650 and trying to decide which windshield replacement/retro to go with. The Laminar Lip adapts to the stock one and is a bit less expensive. Others rave about the Clearview and the Givi. Has anyone tried the Laminar Lip? Dan
