Lady Rataxes is Lord Rataxes' very pretty wife and queen of Rhinoland. Unlike her husband, Lady Rataxes is kind hearted and patient with Babar and his family. While she can be demanding and very tough on her husband, her heart is in the right place.

Rataxes, or Lord Rataxes, is a fictional rhinoceros who is a character in the Babar franchise. Although he is the monarch de jure of his kingdom, called Rhinoland, his more intelligent wife, Lady Rataxes, is the de facto ruler. He is often surrounded by his rhinoceros guards.

Her real name is Louise (as learned in the episode "No Place Like Home"), but she is generally called Lady Rataxes. In the Spin-off/Sequel "The Adventures of Badou" her personality changed radically in which she is very bitter and even more demanding.
