Oct 11, 2016 · Lado was an "almost success" guitar company. They're located near my Hometown in Lindsey ON. They used to sell them in my local guitar shop. They were dropped after spotty supply from what I remember. But I was only 12/13 when this took place so my memory might not be accurate.

Dec 21, 2013 · Lado guitars have been around for decades and you see them on the used market every so often. They have a very good reputation. I remember seeing them for the fist time in the '80s. Back in the late '80s, Lado has an endorsement program with Iron Maiden. I believe that Adrian Smith still plays the Hawk he got from Lado.

May 7, 2023 · I owned a Hawk Series Lado in the 80's. Pretty sure they were made over seas. I can't imagine the value being much. I remember it being a decent guitar though. I also owned a Lado handmade, single pickup, Kahler and neck through body design that was a fantastic guitar. Wish I still had that one.

My friend's brother, the guitarist in the band, bought the guitar from everyone else in the band, and kept it for a few years before selling it to me.
