Jan 7, 2024 · The L4A1 magazine was the version with the large lug of the Commonwealth FAL, these were used on L4A2 through L4A5 BREN. The L4A2 was the production standardized version of the Mk 3 BREN gun converted to 7.62mm. There were minor variations between the trials and production versions.
