KOTOR II hints that Revan left known space to fight the "true Sith threat." It also renders completely meaningless any choices you made about Revan's character in the first game. Everybody's goin nowhere slowly; they're only fighting for the chance to be last.

The only quality here that Revan had was the whole "exploration of the galaxy" deal. Guardian is the same as soldier above. I don't think the path of guardian would appeal to Revan at all, so I highly doubt he choose that one. Again, we know Revan was quite skilled with a Lightsaber, and we also know that Malak was a Guardian.
