What you are talking about is a very specialist dual-sport, the market for which is tiny in comparison (and really limited to a few hundred people here on ADVrider), and fundamentally I don't see any manufacturer developing a brand new engine like that for what would be a one model range...

Sep 13, 2013 · The bike was crashed twice over the weekend at Condo and know body knows this yet but on Easter Saturday I took the KLX700 for a nice ride to Frying Pan Creek forest and ended up putting the big girl down on the tar doing 90 kph around a hairpin corner and threw it down the road 30 meters. thought I broke both arms, a thumb and my wrist.
