Oct 16, 2008 · Kimber isn't the first handgun company to prove they can't sell shotguns. If we leave the country of origin out of the equation, the market demand for hunting over unders at the price level of the Kimber guns is small.

Jun 25, 2009 · Personally, I don't like the Schwarz style safety used in the Kimber II. S&W also uses a Swartz style safety, but its implementation seems to be done better than Kimber's. In addition, the external extractor on the Kimber II has been problematic. As a result of these two changes on the Kimber II, I simply don't trust them.

Oct 31, 2020 · The only time I ever fired a Kimber was at IDPA at OCSA when the extractor on one of my Colts broke during my first stage of the match. One of my buddies let me shoot his Kimber for that stage and it ran fine. I then did the long jog back to my truck to get my spare gun to finish the match with. @BrianWilson

I copied the home page link that I found on their site and the picture on the left is right out of the S&W brochure. This is great, I certainly hope that they do come to the USA, because it will make our S&W Elite guns an even better value.

The majority of the decision makers will be at the show, and this is a great chance to speak with individuals who have enough authority to actually make deals.

Aug 22, 2010 · I'm under the impression that Kimber Valier guns are made by Huglu; I'm not 100% certain of that, though. These were priced at around $5K when introduced; they are true side-lock guns. I remember hearing that there were some problems with them, but I don't remember exactly what the problems were. I would stay away from them.

Sep 18, 2006 · Kimber is the dealer for the Hatfield guns in the US. They don't make them. Sure, Grozik cannot possibly offer an objective opinion, but then, neither can any of us, including me. If I were concerned about quality and warranty repairs I would unquestionably want to know who was going to back up the gun.
