The K200 KIFV ("Korean Infantry Fighting Vehicle") is a South Korean armored personnel carrier designed by the Agency for Defense Development through Project Toad (두꺼비 사업) to replace older armored personnel carriers, such as the M113.

In 1981 came a request for a new Korean Infantry Fighting Vehicle (KIFV). The Agency for Defense Development was put in charge, with Daewoo Heavy Industries integrated into the loop since the beginning (now Doosan Group).

The K200 is the standard armored personnel carrier version of the KIFV and is the most produced variant. It is armed with a one man turret with 12.7mm M2HB machine gun and a pintle mounted 7.62mm M60 machine gun.

AKA the KIFV or K200, the vehicle is more of an APC than a true Infantry Fighting Vehicle, that is it lacks the firepower of an auto cannon and ATM launchers. The basic APC variant has a 3 man crew. The driver sits front left with engine to his right. The Gunner sits on the right.
