There are 2 things that I think are questionable about ES920 - The action feels sticky and plushy, and a little hard to control. I also own a Nord grand and regularly play on a baby grand. Jun 11, 2021 · Between P515 and ES920, I liked both actions but noticed the Kawai has much more platstic parts. It did not feel as solid as the Yamaha whcih weighs 10+ pounds more than the Kawai. I've had it for three weeks now and very happy with the P515.

Jan 7, 2021 · The difficulty with headphones on the Kawai ES920 is that the volume control on ES920 is very touchy down at the low end of the volume range. It is difficult to make a small change to the volume in that area without going from too quiet (with a nice tone) to normal volume without getting into the BOOMING BASS issue that I am not a fan of.

Currently X-type stand (bought together with the DP) is shaky especially playing lower register. I believe the DP mimic some string vibrations but a little too much vibration in my opinion.
