May 20, 2024 · I have two android devices running atak with zerotier as a private server. Runs great, shares data no problem. Now I'm trying to add an iPhone running Itak. It added to zerotier no problem but once Itak is opened it's showing not connected. Does anyone know how to get the iPhone connected? (First pic iPhone, second both android devices)

You can see and share locations, waypoints, routes and other information. On iOS devices, it is designed from the ground up to be connected via mobile data to the server.

Aug 25, 2022 · I have wasted nearly 3 days on this trashheap server software. Havent been able to (yet) determine whether Itak/Atak is worth the shit its printed on or not. As far as I can tell, its far too hacky to be deployed in a true life or death environment. Any agency crazy enough to buy these lies deserves the inevitable lawsuits that will follow.

TAK Meshtastic Gateway listens for multicast data from TAK clients which it then sends to a Meshtastic node connected via USB or on the same LAN. Docs are available here.

I really want to get this to work with Meshtastic as I’m going to be building some of the TTGO T-Beams use use LoRa for camping/hiking/etc. would be neat if I could connect a node to ITAK and just have my buddies all use ITAK instead of Meshtastic
