Ok so basically like the headline says I'm moving to NYC (I think) w/ a $75k salary. I'm planning on living in Brooklyn and am looking for tips/advice/honest thoughts about this move. Will I be ok on this salary? I'm good at budgeting and I feel like this is doable but everything online is making me nervousssss.

Here's a secret. For an average person, the more you make, the more you feel you need to make more. You make 30k, you feel you would be happy making 75k. You start making 75k you feel you need to make 100k and will be happy then. Make 100k you feel you need to want to have 200k. It's human nature.

Once you’re all ready to apply for jobs, you can find tons of listings on LinkedIn and many pay $50k to $65k for no/little experience, and $75k to $100k with experience.
