The Irano-Afghan race or Iranid race is an obsolete racial classification of human beings based on a now-disproven theory of biological race.

Found especially in Kurds and North Persians, sometimes in Lebanese, Caucasus, and Balkans. Fair to light brown skin, straight or wavy, light brown to black hair. Rather tall, mesoskelic, ectomorph to mesomorph. Dolicho- mesocephalic with a straight, mildly leptorrhine nose.

Widespread in Pakistan, Iran, and Afghanistan, reaching to Northern India in the East and Turkey in the West. Highest concentrations are found among the Baluchis, Brahuis, Pathans, Tarin, Dehwar, Pashto, and Yaghnobi, occasionally in Persians and Kurds, Bedouins and Samaritans. Not stabilised yet.

Mar 3, 2021 · Although it comes from a site with white supremacist links, I still found the Iranid phenotypes to be crazy accurate. The Iranid one seems very close to the average Iranian look, and the Indo-Iranid seemed very close to the average Afghan look(imo, the man looks very Pashtun, while the woman looks more Tajik or Uzbek).

The Adwani phenotype is essentially identical to the Iranid phenotype shown in the pictures, though in some locations where the population is found, the skin is darker than shown here. Adwanis have light to medium-light brown skin and straight or wavy, brown or black (very rarely dirty blonde) hair.
