Interlochen's seven residence halls provide comfortable, convenient living spaces for Arts Academy students and summer faculty and staff. Each residence hall room sleeps two and is equipped with twin-sized beds, desks, dressers, and wardrobes.

As a boarding Arts Academy student, you'll live in a residence hall on our sprawling 1,200 acre campus–and there is a lot to do here besides your classes. Our campus features a suite of amenities – with dining, recreation, and live performance all just steps from your residence hall!

Interlochen provides both college-preparatory academics and intensive artistic training in seven fine arts areas: creative writing, dance, film and new media, interdisciplinary arts, music, theatre, and visual arts.

At Interlochen, you'll unlock potential and find the confidence to push against your own limitations. Immersed in nature and surrounded by a global community of like-minded artists, you'll discover a high school for the arts (grades 9-12) you may only have dreamed about.

Modern dorm rooms are available in both the Dow House or DeRoy House. Dorm rooms guests need to provide their own linens and towels. Sets are available for rental at a charge of $10. Opened in 2021, the Dow House is the newest residence hall at Interlochen.

Interlochen Center for the Arts offers a variety of on-campus lodging accommodations. Our lakeside Stone Hotel, Nature Cabins, Heritage Lodges, and Penn Colony units are the perfect locations for Interlochen guests and visitors.
