Ian Duncan Burnett, Baron Burnett of Maldon, PC, DL (born 28 February 1958), is a British judge who served as Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales from 2017 to 2023.

Ian is an active researcher in the Audio and Multimedia Signal Processing space, collaborating with European colleagues through the COST network, Qualinet, and is currently a member of the editorial board of IEEE Multimedia.
