Never use the “Make a Better World” tagline. Never add a country name beside or under the IREX logo. Brands are also fragile. If you “break” the branding by not adhering to some basic rules, the branding loses its impact and can even cause confusion.

We’ve focused on the values that make IREX unique, though there are some values common to many organizations that we also strive to uphold: honesty, integrity, professionalism, respect, and a spirit of openness.

The theme of this year’s event is “The way towards a friendlier society, bridged by robots” — which, as with past slogans, we suspect was created by a slogan-making AI based on every other Japanese trade show slogan ever.
