Dec 6, 2020 · I'm currently having signal issues where my (non-X1/Cablecard) TV is completely out, but I still have Internet (barely as power is - 13 dBMV and SNR is 31). I can watch like TV is I use the Stream app (I.e. IPTV) on my iPad or the Roku app so IPTV works for me. I spoke to a neighbor a block over and she said her TV is still working.

I've been having this ongoing issue now for the longest time and it's really infuriating. We're on the 1GB internet speed. The Cable Card is capable of decoding only QAM-formatted channels (i.e., old-style cable), and Xfinity chose to transmit more and more channels as IPTV (i.e., a much cheaper and more modern format). Cable Cards can't decode IPTV.

Oct 1, 2024 · Thanks for the info. I have Private WIFi Address and Limit IP Address tracking both ON on my MacBook Pro running Sequoia 15.2, and Xfinity Stream works fine in Safari.
