Aug 8, 2024 · In 1934, Route 23 was signed from Jct. Route 3 (US 101 A, later Route 1) near Aliso Canyon to Fillmore. It corresponds to Decker Canyon Road (on the ocean side of Mulholland) and Westlake Road (on the vally side of Mulholland). It is very winding and very twisting, and portions are slow speed for good reason.
