I’ve had some luck with edge but it’s not consistent. I’ve even tried downloading the Hulu app from the windows store. You heard me right.... But surprisingly enough it didn’t stream at full 1080p either. Another thing is that the setting IS set to best quality, not the data server.

Nov 2, 2022 · It just stops and says "Having trouble loading this page". I've been a hulu customer from WAY before hulu live or hulu+, like 14 years. Today it made me register with hulu, and when I tried, it wouldn't let me until I changed my password. I used the oldest password that I've ever used because I don't care at all about hulu.

Apr 15, 2021 · Service: Technically Hulu with ads. I have an adblocker, but turning it off doesn't change the quality of the video at all, so it's not like I'm being punished for using it or anything, since either way it's still low-quality.

Oct 1, 2022 · TLDR: During my 30 minute testing window Hulu Live TV did use 22.8% more bits to deliver the same video. However, YouTube TV is using a ~50% more efficient video codec. Picture quality was essentially the same.

The key here is Android tv. I'm streaming hulu via Nvidia shield tv android tv and I have exactly the same problem. I have amazon prime which has very good streaming quality compared to hulu. From what I find is that hulu app on Android tv is abandoned app,they never get any updates and way behind other platform.

Windows paid for better DRM protection Netflix and Disney are 4k on edge because of this but Hulu is capping it so people use the app so they can get more data off you using the app but there is a court case happening now which should make them stop doing this and then we will have better quality ...
