Our project aims to transform a 1957 Ford B500 short bus into a fully handicapped-accessible, modern hot rod (“DA Short Bus”). The goal is to make a badass hot rod that makes people question why it’s parked in a handicapped spot.

Chris Pulley is turning this vintage people-hauler into a rolling billboard for Beyond D.A. Bus, a nonprofit devoted to engaging people with any disability in activities they may have never imagined themselves doing.

1950 Chevy "Shorty" School Bus would make an awesome Hot Rod, Resto-Project or even a classic restoration back to original condition! This bus is in amazing shape, no motor/tranny, rust free, pretty darn straight and comes with a clean AZ Title!

It would be a great bus for an RV conversion, vending/food truck, push rig/tow rig, harley hauler, rod bus, or? The body is in nice shape and the bus runs good. The bus is 22' long.

DA Short Bus, with its fully wheelchair accessible interior and classic hot rod exterior, will advance our mission by changing the stereotype of how disabled people view their transportation opportunities.
