Feb 26, 2022 · According to every review of the PS4 versions I've seen, there's no issues with FPS. I think it's just the graphics and load times that you're sacrificing on PS4. It's still better than Zero Dawn graphically even on the PS4, so if you were fine with that, it probably won't bother you here either. 30 FPS is locked, though, obviously.

'Horizon Forbidden West' played fine around launch on my base PS4. Granted, I have an SSD installed internally so didn't experience issues with texture loading like some did. The only issues I had was a crash or two (in approx 100hrs), and an armour I chose have a visual bug so I simply swapped to another one.

Horizon forbidden west itself is already too good for the ps4, the dlc NEEDS a ps5 so it can be optimalized and be worth the actual price. As you could see in the trailer a metal devil was gonna come into action, I don’t expect the ps4 to handle that and I’d rather have a good ps5 dlc
