Ive driven a jdm EP3 type R, that car is fugly on the outside, but extremely comfy to get in/out and the shifter feeling is great, also feels extremely light and the k20 feels incredibly free. Its definitely a car to drive and enjoy, but as soon as you get out of it and do the look back test, it will fail most of the times, every time lol.

Jan 30, 2022 · If you plan to keep it stock, especially in the suspension department, the ep3 will pretty much hold it down for you. Excellent little cars; my ep3 is almost 300k miles with the same engine!

Apr 3, 2023 · The EP3 is cool, but it doesn't do anything more special than any other honda with a stick shift. The 5 speed is annoying on the highway, you're cruising at high RPM's.

May 13, 2024 · i had an FG2 si and a GD3 fit before and loved them both for different reasons. I want to try something a bit different and found the GE8 and the EP3 appealing, as they are both light and cheap to buy/maintain. the EP3 is seemingly the least performance-oriented version of the SI, which probably makes it the closest comparison to a fit.

Jul 31, 2018 · The EP3 Civic Si is a personal favorite of mine but everyone universally agrees that it lacks due to the K20A3 engine (same as a Base RSX). You will have a lot more fun with the RSX Type S. Quite faster.
