Jul 1, 2013 · Hello, Honda motorcycles did NOT have a "model year" until 1976. Your bike is a CB175K3. Honda shows a model sale release date of 06/25/69. That does not make it a 1969 model, it is a K3 model, CB175, and has NO "model year". The DMV clerks had a form to fill in a date, so they would enter the current year, causing confusion.

Made the following repairs: rebuilt carbs and set up to initial settings, replaced carb mounting gaskets, Checked valve clearance .002 on all cold, checked point gap ok. Performed compression check 85 p.s.i. on left and 40 on right. needless to say barely ran!

Nov 14, 2015 · Googling Honda CB175 K6 it comes up with a number of photos, one of which is the bike in the correct colour. It is definitely a greeny blue and I think it was possibly only used on this model !! A bit more investigation I think Thanks for any help voxy53
