Apr 8, 2020 · Naturally Renegade is a great fit for this, but Herald does great too with Gaze of Darkness, and if you opt for Song of the Mists (when swapping to Shiro). Rev is very flexible with open world content. Renegade is probably a bit better, but they both have their advantages. I find the spirits off-putting so tend to prefer Herald.

Apr 21, 2024 · Herald right now only functions as a Boon injector trait/spec for the Revenant but Renegade does that much better and much easier via just critically attacking enemies. Plus Renegade is just better with the Fervor unique buff that cannot be corrupted AND bonuses to SB's bleed application. So yea in general, Herald is food.
