Mar 11, 2025 · Welp, I would have said the Hartke LH-1000 except mine had some problems with the input Jacks. They developed cracks on the stupid little PCB causing loss of connection. It was a real b*tch to take apart and re-solder them, but doable.

May 3, 2013 · However Hartke's own cabs don't seem to marry with this combination very well. Firstly, the Hydrive 410 cab has a maximimum rating of 1000 watts, but it is an 8 ohm cabinet. In an ideal world I could get two of these, thus getting a 4 ohm load and allowing the LH500 to put out 500 watts max. However I don't have the room for two 410 cabinets.

Surprising because they look relatively smallish until you pick one up. but that being said, they are a total steal on an "Alembic F1-X pre through a SS power amp" type rig. I used an LH500 for a month or so of gigs a few years ago and was very satisfied by the sound quality.

Mar 3, 2009 · So, the Hartke brought out the LH series of amps. In all respects the complete opposite too the HA. Full tube preamp. 3-band EQ. Brite switch. DI-out. Simple's.....Come in either 500watts or 1000watts power. Price is also a big factor: The LH500 cost about the same as a HA3500 and the LH1000 cost cheaper than the HA5500.
