Apr 7, 2022 · I had a look at copes, but it seems a bit too old compared to hanako's dress. I thought it might be a cloak, but most of those have hoods, and this one doesn't. It seems to be a mixture of a cape and a capelet (a short cape that covers only shoulders and chests). Then, I came across a cape coat / cape cloak. Apparently, such a thing exists

Mar 21, 2023 · We don't really know! They have special powers. Like the green hakujoudai summons Hanako's cape, the red hakujoudai is often used to teleport people to or away from Hanako, the red kokujoudai can also teleport people, and the green kokujoudai seems to summon Tsukasa's radio.

In the pilot chapters Hanako said the "cape mode" is a power he borrowed from the god, if I'm not mistaken. I know those chapters don't really hold any connection to the main story (aside of the concept), but I think there's a strong possibility this element has been retained in the main manga.

May 22, 2020 · I feel like it would already be kind of a close fight between Cape Hanako and Teru. Since Hanako everytime he fight using his cape he either one-shot's (Kodama, Monster Mitsuba, Book Monsters, Nuls Kou strongest attack and then cut's off Raiteijou effortless) or he gets nerfed (Yako made him unable to use his cape.

Aug 7, 2020 · Well, it's not totally confirmed but it's really likely. We know Hanako was sealed by Kou and Teru's Grandmother. Kou said it in his introduction chapter -chapter 3 in manga, episode 2 in anime- and Hanako didn't refute it. Then, the white seal on Hanako's cheek is exactly the same seal that he put on Kou's staff to seal its power.
