There is a quad core variant of the t620 which could benefit you (2 more cores but a lower clock speed). I've used them as (limited) workstation, Linux server, windows server, hyper-v host and firewall system.

    Nov 11, 2020 · The standard T620 does not have room for pcie extension. You will need the T620 Plus or similar in order to have NICs (just think of them as ethernet ports for now). You need one for your WAN connection (what connects to your modem) and one for your LAN (connects to the switch). Something like this. Notice how it has 4 ethernet ports.
