I've checked my device manager and confirmed I have the latest Windows updates for my Dell PC. My PC recognizes it as a Generic Monitor (HP 24mh) Driver version 10.0.2261.2506

I have a HP 24mh 23.8-inch Display Product 1d0J9AA that is just over a year old. A black shadow appeared in the lower left corner. I have rebooted, checked connections, replaced the HDMI cord with a brand new one and still have the black shadow. I also attached my laptop to another monitor and the problem disappears.
