Jul 14, 2019 · Recently they debuted the prototype FK8 MXP Comp RS exhaust at SEMA 2018. It took them 6-7 months to finally release this exhaust to the public around May. Once I got note of the exhaust release I quickly sold my HKS Legamax to try out the MXP exhaust and I am quite proud of that decision.

Just listen to the videos of the exhaust with a good pair of headphones I personally think it is a good representation of how they sound after watching videos and having heard them in person. I personally love the DDR, a few of my friends have it and it makes me really want one.

Note that you need to run the car in the "touring" configuration or the exhaust does drone. HKS is known to be a quiet exhaust with the FK8 so it has no drone to it either. Oct 10, 2017 · So this exhaust is slightly louder than HKS Legamax and has similar sound characteristic. The HKS does drone a little IMO. Driving around town, stop and go between 2000-3500 rpm, the exhaust is very boomy, especially during deceleration. On highway, there’s a constant humming noise as well. Even stock exhaust has this humming noise on highway.
