May 17, 2021 · That the main reason Grundebeld wanted to engage Guts in a duel, because he was capable to put up a impressive fight against Zodd, a Zodd which wasn't joking around. I don't remember any mentions of Zodd holding back his killing blows or willingly sparring Guts life during their sword fight post-eclipse.

Zodd is kind of a version of Guts that never found the Band of the Hawk and kept getting stronger and stronger working as a lone mercenary, without spending any time in finding another purpose than fight to survive, until some event (a crippling injury or an opponent way to powerful for even himself) made him activate a behelit and become an ...

Dec 20, 2014 · Could zodd have beaten the sea God? Maybe. I think if guts and him do go all out, it would be the most exciting fight thus far.

Aug 22, 2016 · Guts had had tons of "field training" since then fighting progressively more powerful opponents whereas Zodd has been mostly fighting scrubs on behalf of Griffith. Guts has definitely surpassed Zodd and I think Zodd probably knows that he'd lose in a fair fight. Still it would be ultra high difficulty for Guts.

Dec 19, 2022 · Im finally getting around to reading the manga after watching all anime adaptations and was wondering does it ever get explained why zodd helped guts out when he was fighting general bascogn with his sword ?

Jan 24, 2023 · The guts before reaching elfhelm probably could if fully healed and with the berserker armor. He put up quite a fight without the armor when Griffith showed up at the grave of swords after his resurrection. But there is also the fact that skull knight still hasn't killed Zodd... So Zodd probably has more offscreen powers we are unaware of.

May 28, 2020 · Guts and Zodd fighting together served the purpose of giving Ganishka a wound, which then played a role in him eventually becoming paranoid about his thog Form being damageable. Griffith then put the nail on the coffin when he made it extinguish through the use of wind in Vrittannis.

Zodd even appeared to be afraid of the berserker armor when he sees it. So wuddaya think? Could a Berserk Guts beat an Apostle form Zodd? Side question, anyone else have to deal with the unacceptable "Guts" to "guys" autocorrect like all the damn time!?
