Feb 22, 2018 · To my understanding, the ony requirement for long guns in a vehicle is that the are unloaded. Hunting season has nothing to do with it. The only area that might apply is to a restricted handgun permit (if you are stopped and claim you are using the "hunting" exemption on your restricted handgun license, but it isn't hunting season).
